Aaron Smith
IT Consultant
Aaron Smith has over a decade of providing IT services to Octal System’s customers. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Network Security and an Associate’s Degree in Information Systems Specializing in Networking, and he is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer(MCSE). Aaron began his IT career at Octal Systems after having spent several years in the construction industry. His time in the construction industry began as a carpenter’s helper, he later went on to operate as a general contractor and worked as a project manager at the Henry County Hospital. His previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial in installing cable, and network infrastructure. He is a lifelong Henry County resident having graduated from Blue River Valley, and now resides in New Castle. He has been married for 21 years and has two children.
Mathew Mills
IT Consultant
Mathew began working at Octal Systems in July 2024. He graduated from Ivy Tech in May of 2024 with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. Since working at Octal he has been working on receiving certifications to provide better support for customers. In his free time he likes to cook and play card games with his family, and friends.
Adam (Chris) Lovan
Owner/IT Consultant

Chris Lovan has worked in the Information Technology industry since May 1991. Previous to his role at Octal Systems, LLC Chris was the IT Manager for Cingular Wireless for the Indiana Market. During his tenure at Cingular Wireless, he was responsible for all network infrastructure for a 250-person call center, Indiana corporate headquarters, 40 retail locations, and 25 kiosk sales sites. Chris was also responsible for the network communications between the Mobile Telephone Switching Offices and corporate offices for the engineering departments and numerous migrations between platforms and technologies. He has 22 years of IT consulting experience and over 33 years of experience in the IT field. He has performed all facets of IT including electronic data processing, audits of security, reliability and disaster recovery, IT Management, and more. Chris graduated from Sterling College as an Outstanding Senior in Computer Science with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.
